How to Download Your Aadhaar Card Online?

You can download e-Aadhaar via the 12 digits Aadhaar number provided. You should provide your Full Name particulars as in Aadhaar card and Pin code. While downloading OTP gets received on your registered mobile number. You could even use TOTP for downloading e-Aadhaar instead of OTP. TOTP can be got by making use of the mAadhaar mobile application.


How to download your Aadhaar Card online?


Once you get your Aadhar ID provided by UIDAI, you can download and print your card online through the following step


Step 1

Go to the official website of Aadhaar https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/


Step 2

Choose the Download Aadhaar option from the My Aadhaar tab or else go to the link https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/


Step 3

Click the Aadhaar Number option


Step 4

Key in your 12-digit Aadhaar Number, Security Code. Select the Send OTP option for receiving the one-time password on your mobile number registered with UIDAI


Step 5

Clicked the Masked Aadhaar tab in case you want Masked Aadhaar.


Step 6

Key in the OTP received and select the Verify and Download option


Step 7

On successful verification of your Aadhaar details, a password-protected PDF of your Aadhaar card will get downloaded in your Downloads folder.

To be able to open the file, you have to enter an 8-character password. The password is a combination of the first 4 letters of your name in capital letters (name should be as mentioned in the Aadhaar Card) and year of birth in YYYY format.
