Yes you can prepay your loan anytime during the loan tenure. Prepayment charges 5% of the principle outstanding.

It depends on your bank which may take up to 20 working days to activate the revised instructions. In case your next instalment falls due prior to the said date, instruction already lodged with us will be presented for payment.

The turnaround time varies based on the type of query. All the queries which we can resolve it through this app will be done on real time. Any query raised through Raise A Query will have a related TAT and will be shared at the time of query submission.

There are no charges. Customer can change the mode of repayment without any cost.

Mandatory Documents:

• i. Completely filled Claim intimation form duly filled, stamped and signed by authorized signatory of policyholder (As per attached format)
• ii. Original death certificate issued by the Municipal or other Competent Authority
• iii. Claim discharge form should be mandatorily sent with claim documents at first go.
• iv. Certificate of Insurance
• v. Declaration of good health
• vi. Proof of age of the life insured (for example attested copy of birth certificate/ school leaving certificate etc.)
• vii. Nominee id proof & relationship proof.
• viii. Cover Schedule
• ix. Cancelled Cheque of the nominee (mandatory where balance amount payable to nominee is greater than 10000) (giving complete bank account details like Account No, IFSC Code, Name of Nominee printed on the cheque and if name of the nominee is not printed on cheque kindly provide supporting bank passbook copy with latest transactions)
• x. Outstanding loan amount as on date of claim event to be mandatorily filled at first go

Supporting Documents:

• i. Last attending doctor's certificate stating the exact cause of death along with antecedent and other significant conditions leading to death
• ii. If death has occurred in a hospital, all indoor case papers consultation notes, investigation reports, treatment papers from all hospitals where insured has taken treatment.
• iii. If the death is due to an accident or any other unnatural cause,
• iv. A certified copy of the FIR filed with the Police authorities
• v. A certified copy of the Post Mortem Report/Autopsy Report
• vi. Panchanama
• vii. Police Case Closure Report (if applicable)
• viii. Viscera / Chemical Analysis Report (if applicable)
• ix. A certified copy of the Driving License if death occurred while driving
• x. Medical Questionnaire duly filled by last attending / treating doctor

Visit our update your address section and upload your current address proof and submit the query. It will be review by our customer Service team and will be resolved in two working days.

Please note that post closure of your loan, your CIBIL Report will be updated by us by the 18th of the next month. In case of any discrepancy please write to us at customer.care@herofincorp.com

Hero Fincorp updates the customer data with CIBIL on a monthly basis. Further CIBIL updates the same in their database within 1 week’s time.

• • If you are unsure of any field, please leave it blank

only the below mentioned fields should be filled on the NACH mandate:


• • Date (DD/MM/YYYY): The current date on which you are filling up the mandate needs to be written
• • Bank Account Type: (as per the savings bank account cheque)
• • Bank Name: (If the name is long, kindly use abbreviations)
• • Bank Account No.: As mentioned on your cheque
• • 9 digit MICR Code: As mentioned on your cheque
• • EMI Amount in Words: In case you are servicing multiple loans with BFL from this account, please enter double of the sum of all the EMIs. Don’t worry; only your actual EMI amount will be deducted.
• • EMI Amount in Figures: EMI amount in words and figures should match
• • LAN (Loan Account Number): In case you are servicing multiple loans with BFL from this account, please enter the LAN with the highest EMI.
• • EMI End Date: Please enter the last EMI date in this field.
• • Signature: This should match with bank records
• • Account Holder Name: In case your bank account is a jointly operated bank account, please enter the signatures and names of account holders below each respective box.
